A written interview, when there is no time to record

For authors on tour, on deadline, or in a timezone that will not cooperate. No microphone, no scheduling, no recording nerves — the same attention to the book.

How a written interview runs

1. We read the book

Questions are written after reading, not from a template. If the book turns on something you would rather not spoil, tell us and we will work around it.

2. Questions by email

Ten to fifteen questions land in your inbox. There is no call to schedule and no timezone to negotiate.

3. You answer in your own time

Write as much or as little as each question deserves. Most authors take an hour spread over a few evenings.

4. Light editing, published

We edit for clarity and typos only — never for voice — send you the final text to approve, then publish it with your photo, cover and buy links.

What is included

  • A tailored set of questions written after we read your book
  • You answer in writing, in your own time
  • Light editing for clarity, never for voice
  • A published feature page with your photo, cover and buy links
  • Shareable pull quotes ready for your social posts
  • A permanent page you can link from your own site

What you send us

  • Your book or manuscript
  • A short bio and a high-resolution photo
  • Your answers in a document
  • Buy links for the editions you want mentioned

Prefer to talk it through instead? The recorded interview covers the same ground on the record, and audiobook conversion turns the book itself into audio.

Tell us about the book

Title, genre and publication date are enough to start. We will confirm whether a written feature is the right fit before anything is agreed.
